and Roasting Company). Not only has the name changed, but the coffee is better
than EVER! In February of 2009, we went ORGANIC!
Small batch roasted and 100% ORGANIC!! We roast our
certified organic beans to perfection 20 pounds at a
time. Not only does our coffee taste great, but it
will also be absent of any pesticides and chemicals that
your body does not need. Just great coffee, that
is all we know how to do.

About Our Single Origin Coffees
At The Carmel Coffee House we only use the highest quality
"green" beans available on the market. We buy only 100%
Arabica beans which are more dense and have better flavor
characteristics than the Robusta variety.
The Arabica beans, characteristics change based on where they
are grown. Climate conditions, soil nutrients, and harvesting techniques all contribute to
the different flavor characteristics that each origin or country is know for.
Below are some of the characteristics that we have found from the different coffees we
roast from around the world.
Colombia Supremo - Unusually smooth and nicely balanced.
Mexican Pluma Altura - Delicate, Earthy and mild.
Costa Rican - Very smooth, complex and balanced.
Sumatra Mandheling - Very full-body, smooth and complex.
Peru Organic - Well-balanced and very mild.
Ethiopa Harrar - Wine like with a mild finish.
Java Estate - Heavy body, smooth and complex.
Kona Mountain Estate - Very aromatic with a rich,
medium body.
