Tucked in the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea is a classic coffee roastery in the European tradition. Located 120 miles south of San Francisco, in a 1920's Mediterranean-style courtyard, The Carmel Coffee House and Roasting Co. was founded in 1994.

The Carmel Coffee House and Roasting Co. selects only the finest arabica beans from around the world. These beans are then roasted in small batches to insure quality, consistency and freshness.

We Are An Environmentally Friendly Coffee Roaster.

The Carmel Coffee House and Roasting Co. is proud to be one of the first environmentally friendly coffee roasters in the Western United States. Our state-of the-art emission control equipment allows us to roast coffee without harming the environment. Any smoke associated with the roasting of coffee is mitigated. Only the aromas of fresh roasted coffee remain for your enjoyment.
